Quality Inn Columbia Mall

Manager on duty: she was very helpful but could have let us know beforehand that plugs are messed up in the room. We had cheeses in the fridge without proper refrigeration in the excess of 8 hours. The electrical is a repair process. Wiring issues are ongoing. Otherwise, communication with her was absolutely great. The switch by the door has to be on for the fridge to be activated to work. Beds/pillows were super comfortable. Professional grooming in the hospitality trade is a must. This is an indication of care and professionalism in the tourist industry. Maid service was sketchy. The cleaning staff do not speak English. Communicating to get towels, shampoo, and conditioner was an experience. There were other staff: were unkept and not professional in appearance. Long hair not put back. Sloppy appearance: dirty clothing worn several days in a row. Stains and mess all over the top. Same stains from the day prior. Tables not being cleaned up in a timely manner nor the grunge by the garbage area not being cleaned regularly is displayed by the white gobs smeared all around.

Great rate for the room, excellent customer service, clean, quiet, close to everything.

I will stay here again. The room smelled, but only of cleaning products. The window was easy to open to air that odor out. I'm grateful that they have the sense to not allow pets in every room, only service animals in specific rooms. I don't hate critters, I am quite allergic to them, and get painful reactions to leftover dog and cat hair and dander. The hotel I stayed at before this Quality Inn allowed pets and the room stunk like wet dog so bad. I had to take double my normal allergy meds because they had no more rooms and after a long drive, I didn't have the energy to change hotels. The room was pretty, with nice carpet that I wasn't afraid to walk on with bare feet. The bed was comfy with a nice cotton comforter. The desk staff was wonderful, and very accommodating about my mobility issues. The first desk clerk I talked to when I called for a reservation assigned me a room as close to an entrance as she could because walking is hard for me. The second desk clerk brought me a new key card when the original one failed to work at the side door. The desk clerk on duty when I checked out brought me a luggage cart and was so nice, she helped me load my stuff in my vehicle. My one complaint is that the first set of key cards didn't work.

I stayed here for 3 nights for work. All the front desk and housekeeping ladies I ran into were cordial. The room was comfortable and I had everything I needed. Someone had turned the mini refrigerator's temperature down too cold and had a can of soda explode inside. It was a mess but no damage done. I left too early in the morning to take advantage of the included breakfast. I'm a light sleeper and the heater was a bit noisy. Plenty of hot water and decent towels compared to some motels. The location is excellent with lots of restaurants and shopping nearby. The pool looked nice but forgot my swimsuit. I'd definitely stay here again

Absolutely love this hotel. Rooms are clean, bed comfy. The people are super nice. Location is next to the mall with access to all the food around, Texas Roadhouse, Chick fil A, Olive Garden PLUS the gas stations at the corner. Hot tub, clean washing machine and dryer and vending machines. Will stay here every time

I stay here frequently for work. The staff if friendly and helpful. The rooms are spacious and clean. Most of the rooms I've been in have a bad oder coming out of the heater/air conditioner. They need a good spring cleaning and disinfectant. Their breakfast is really good. I would recommend staying here.

I stay here frequently, and I am always impressed with the staff. Emily, the manager, is very kind and willing to assist in any way possible. I have yet to have a negative experience here, and I plan to continue to stay here regularly.

Joanna helped me with our reservation for 4 rooms and she was amazing!! She was patient and very helpful. Heather greeted us at check in. She was pleasant, kind and helpful. She tried to accommodate all our requests ( even if they were crazy). Clean updated room and bed was comfy.
